MEET THE FOUNDERS / Viviane Boukhaled

Viviane is a passionate Interior Architect with over two decades of experience blending creativity with functionality. Her journey began at the University of Lebanon, where she studied Interior Architecture and later earned a Master’s degree in the field. For twenty years, she taught at Al Makassed Vocational and Technical Institution, nurturing aspiring designers and emphasizing the transformative power of thoughtful design. Beyond teaching, she has been actively involved with the NGO “Step Together For Special Needs,” contributing to fundraising efforts and community initiatives. In 2015, she founded Platform Studio, driven by a belief in strong foundations for every project. Expanding into Egypt, integrated expertise in furniture design to elevate standards and create bespoke, concept-driven spaces. Viviane's approach centers on guiding clients through the journey from conceptual sketches to tangible, personalized environments. Mainly advocating for high-end craftsmanship and meticulous project execution, aiming for lasting client satisfaction. Architecture, to her, is about crafting meaningful experiences through design that resonates with inhabitants and enhances their lives. Through Platform Studio and beyond, she wishes continues boundaries pushing and leaving a lasting impact on the built environment.

MEET THE FOUNDERS / Elie Azzi

“I’m Ellie, the third-generation leader of SLA, a family business that’s been a beacon of design excellence for 54 years. Design is my passion, from the first sketch to the final product, though the creative phase truly captivates me. When I took the helm, SLA had 70 employees and one building; now, we’ve grown to encompass nine companies and are making waves internationally. My vision is to see our creations showcased at global fairs under various names, but always with SLA’s distinctive touch. Balancing time management and my hands-on approach can be challenging, but I thrive on being deeply involved in every project. When I’m not immersed in work, you can find me playing basketball, swimming, or exploring new destinations.”

MEET THE FOUNDERS / Mohamed Majed

Mohamed is a distinguished graduate of the University of Lebanon majoring in architecture. His passion lies in organizing and zoning spaces, transforming them into places where people can feel comfortable and at ease. With exceptional managing skills, Mohamed has honed his expertise in turning spaces into functional and inviting buildings. Starting his career journey at the age of 30, Mohamed initially worked as a freelancer. His dedication and talent led him to establish his own company, where he has successfully managed projects ranging from farms and schools to villas and buildings. Mohamed envisions extending the unique Lebanese touch to the Egyptian market, bringing his distinctive style and expertise to a broader audience. A strong leader, Mohamed is known for his exemplary time management skills, ensuring that every project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. His journey and vision continue to inspire those around him, as he brings innovative solutions and a personal touch to every space he transforms.
